Police had been investigating a property on the 5200 block of Burton Street in Wissinoming since last week, after receiving a tip that the body of a woman who went missing eight years ago may be buried inside, the outlet previously reportedciting unnamed police sources.

Philadelphia police said they have "no releasable information" as of Tuesday, Dec. 20. The department confirmed to Daily Voice last week that it was investigating a tip regarding human remains at a property near 5200 Burton, but declined to go into detail.

Investigators recovered "bone fragments from a human foot" roughly four feet beneath the concrete floor, 6abc reported on Friday, Dec. 16.  The remains have not been identified by officials, the outlet wrote.
